Pavel Polanco-Safadit lanza la nueva producción de su banda: Americanisao

El romance de la música Americana y la música Latina ha influenciado a culturas más allá de las vinculadas. Americanisao, es el apropiado título de la nueva producción discográfica del pianista, compositor, arreglista, líder de banda y educador Pavel Polanco-Safadit y su agrupación: Pavel y Direct Contact.
El carismático pianista internacional, de origen dominicano, es todo un huracán en el escenario - desplegando hipnotizantes ritmos y líneas melódicas con una fuerza 5 en la escala de Saffir-Simpson. Pavel es también Profesor y Director del Programa de Jazz de Earlham College en Indiana, Director Ejecutivo de Amigos Latino Center y un artista de Aire Born Records. Igualmente es parte del Comité del Indy Jazz Fest, creador de su parte Latina; y al mismo tiempo parte activa de su directiva y organización.
El músico y educador nos comenta que ¨a través de este CD, quiero llegar al gran público norteamericano para que sean expuestos a la conexión de la música Afro-Latina, melodías repletas de ritmos afro-caribeños en fusión con el jazz, y una desbordante energía que le llegará a cada oyente¨..
El CD tiene siete temas, todos de su autoría, menos Sabor A MI, que cuenta con originales arreglos. Los temas en el red que se presentan en la producción son: Day Tripper, The Cookie Crunch Bounce, Sabor A Mi , JJ, Momento, Cha-Cha Blues, y Langhei.
Pavel, en piano y dirección musical, es acompañado por: Leah Crane, Voz; Dave Allee, Trompeta; Rob Dixon, Saxofones; Steve Dokken, Bajo; Matt McGraw, Batería; y, Pedro Fernández, Congas / Vibráfono.
